Our Kitchen & Bath Business Story
Carole Industries, Inc., now known as Carole Kitchen and Bath Design, opened its doors for business in 1993. At that time, the company’s focus was largely kitchen cabinetry and building supplies. The founders— husband and wife business partners, managed the company as a family-run business. (People ask us all the time where the name Carole came from. Frank & Carole were the founders of Carole Industries. In fact, we are thrilled that their daughter Jenn, a super-talented kitchen and bath designer, still works with us on the Carole team today!)
Back when Carole’s first opened, the company served primarily metro-Boston area remodeling contractors, but has evolved over the years to serve a clientele of about half homeowners directly and half builders/contractors/architects. From the start, clients came through our doors based primarily on customer referrals and word-of-mouth. (And we are proud to say that the vast majority of our customers still come to us based on the referral of a friend or family member who is a satisfied past-customer.)
By the beginning of 2004, the Carole’s founders were ready for retirement and sold the business to another local family. The firm today remains owner-operated, with that same family-run philosophy and an even greater emphasis on excellent customer service, quality products, and superb value. The majority of our team members have been with Carole’s for close to ten years, and some for even longer. Our design team manager has been in the kitchen and bath cabinetry design business for more than 20 years.
Our showroom never looks the same for long. We are always updating it to reflect the latest in cabinetry design and products and to help you figure out what you want in a welcoming place. We will always focus on offering our clients an expert team, product education, superb design, and super service.
