Giving Back to Our Community
Doing our part to support our community is important to us. It’s a huge part of our company ‘personality.’
Veteran’s Day was extra-memorable for our team this year because we surprised a wonderful client with a little extra help in the form of a gift to help make her KraftMaid kitchen happen. Our client/Veteran has served two tours in Afghanistan and now is stateside and settling in to a home that needs remodeling. We are inspired by her service and sacrifice. As a company, we were compelled to show our deep gratitude, especially during the month of November, when our nation recognizes Veteran’s Day. We know it is impossible to quantify the gift she has given, and it was our sincere privilege to put forth this gesture with the support of KraftMaid Cabinetry to show our respect.
We are especially honored to assist the Council for Social Concern’s Food Pantry program every month. Our warehouse driver Donny uses our Carole truck to pick up the pantry’s regular food orders at the grocery store, and we donate holiday food baskets and holiday gift donations for local families in need. Carole’s Maura Fredey is on the “Friends of the Council for Social Concern” and Sue Fraser volunteers her time as a member of the Council’s Board of Directors. We are honored to be a major sponsor again this year for the Council’s annual major fundraiser, the Council of Social Concern’s 29th Annual John McElhiney Memorial Auction Saturday, April 29, 2017 (www.socialconcern.org)
