For more than 40 years, the Winchester Chamber of Commerce has selected a Citizen of the Year, honoring an individual who has made significant contributions to the betterment of life in town. This year, rather than selecting one person, the Chamber honored Winchester’s essential workers with this prestigious award, celebrating with an amazing rolling parade by their places of work earlier this month. Carole Kitchen and Bath was honored to be the sponsor of this important event recognizing the people whose jobs required them to go to work and keep the community safe and functioning since the spring. The Carole Kitchen box truck, festooned with star balloons and banners thanking essential workers, followed Winchester’s Sgt. Dan Perenik, leading dozens of cars driven by community leaders and past recipients of the award. Carole Kitchen and Bath is grateful to be a long-time Chamber of Commerce member and to have worked on hundreds of kitchen projects in Winchester, MA. Giving back to the communities in which we work is an important part of our company philosophy.
Congratulations to the Chamber on a terrific, uplifting event and thank you to ALL essential workers.
